Financial Aid

Students may apply for student loans to meet direct and indirect educational expenses. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residence to apply for loans through most loan programs. Canadian citizens are eligible to apply for assistance through the Canada Student Loan program. International students on a student visa are eligible for Federal loan programs, but may apply for a private loan if they can provide a credit-worthy U.S. co-signer.

To determine your eligibility for Student Financial Assistance, you must complete the 2004-2005 “Free Application for Federal Student Aid” (FAFSA) online application at www.fafsa.ed.govYou should apply simultaneously for the 2005-2006 FAFSA as well, since it will be needed for the September 2005 term. Completing this application is required for all Financial Aid applicants and will help us determine your eligibility for Student Loans. The Federal School Code for Ross University School of Medicine is G22460 and Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine the code is G22779.

Most students are eligible Federal Stafford Loans and also apply for alternative to cover tuition and additional expense. You will receive a Federal Stafford loan application and an Award Letter which describes the type and amount of aid for which you are eligible. Your signature is required before processing.
